The Oregon Trail

I can hardly believe how fast time has FLOWN by... my youngest cousins graduated high school this year! I was luck to travel with my grandma and brother to Rougue River, OR to see one such graduation! The trip was a grueling 12 hour drive starting Thursday June 9. We returned the following Tuesday and boy was I glad to finally get out of a car!

Ethen had such a great time. My aunt has 2 horses and when I told Ethen HE COULDN'T WAIT... All he talked about was getting to ride a horse! Needless to say the horse coral was Ethen's favorite place and I think they must have gained AT LEAST 10 pounds from all the "feeding" that Ethen did! The day before we left he FINALLY got to ride Jerada and Coco (more like just sit but hey... he obviously didn't mind). It was fun!


On the way home Ethen discoved his love of my iPod... it was so funny listening to him "sing" to the music. His latest craze... Lemonade Mouth (which actually has been added to the iPod not only for Ethen... but we'll keep that a secret... shhh)


The trip was totally worth it... especially for the shot of Mt. Shasta all 14,100 ft of it!!!
