Today was fantastic! We went to the Buffalo Ward today (we are in the Westcliff Ward now but were in Buffalo since we moved here from San Diego). We were there for the return of a great friend of ours, Matthew Stucki, just returning from his 2 year mission to New Zealand. He gave a magnificent talk about repentance and the peace that we can find in Christ! At one point he literally called the congregation to repentance saying “I love you so much that I HAVE to tell you this.” It certainly made me take an internal assessment to search out those things that are not in harmony with the teachings of Christ. It was great to see some of the greatest people on earth again. We have missed them dearly since our move, but we do love the people of the Westcliff Ward!
After church mom and John (her “boy” friend) came over for dinner and cake for mom. We sang “Happy Birthday” and Ethen helped her blowout the candles. She was even made to wear her princess crown.

Ethen was caught reading today! Love it… He receives a church magazine, The Friend, in the mail. I love that he reads his magazine, it’s full of wonderful stories and activities that center around Christ…
Today was a fantastic day with Christ, family and friends… the most important people in our lives!
