Project Process

I have tons of projects going… I used to be the kind of person in which I could NOT, in any way, start a new project without completing the one I was working on first! Well that is so not the case anymore!

WHAT HAPPENED TO ME!!!

Here are just a few projects that I have started but have yet to complete… some of these (regrettably) are taking WAY longer than originally anticipated!

 

Project #1: His Hands Cross stitch

(I totally love this and I really CAN’T wait to have it done. I started this a year ago and intend to give it to a certain special someone in my family [can’t name names just in case they are reading this… hehehe] I am DETERMINED to have this done this year and it can totally be done! Check out my progress!)

You can see how big this thing is going to be! It’s huge!

Project #2: Knit blanket

(I started this blanket over a year ago and intended to give it to a friend who was having a baby. It’s pretty big to wrap the baby in but perfect for tummy time on the floor. However – I completely underestimated my skill level and the time it would take to make this… needless to say the baby has since been born and celebrated it’s 1st birthday – oops! So I will finish this and keep it in my stash until someone else has a baby boy (maybe my brother’s newly discovered bun-in-the-oven will be a boy!!!!)

Project #3: Knit Squares for charity

(This is a project I started to help a project called Knit A Square, you knit a square they patch them together and give the blanket to an orphan. This project may actually NEVER be complete and I’m ok with that. The only thing stopping this project from moving forward is me not mailing them off!!! But that’s ok, they will get there – eventually!!! This by the way has been an EXCELENT way to use up my scrap yarn as well!!!)

Project #4: Navy Quilt for Jonathon

(We all remember the quilt I made from my Marine Corps uniforms, well I have been trying to get one going for Jonathon. We are still in the planning stage – good grief! All though I’m not too terribly upset about this one not even started yet… it would only be one more UNFINISHED project. This one is still – UN-STARTED! (sorry no pics yet – because I haven’t started anything! hehehe)

 

So there you have it… at least 4 of my unfinished projects. Not to mention the bazillion ideas that I have rolling around in my head of things I’d LIKE to do – don’t get me started on that one!

Oh well… I’ll keep working on these and the others and sometime in my future they will FINALLY be complete (probably only to have more added to the list of unfinished projects)… Such is life!
