Field Trip Time

Today Robert Taylor Kindergarten classes went to the Boulder City Veteran’s Memorial Park today for some fun in the sun. Well – it was supposed to be sunny – but it was cloudy and windy and a bit too chilly to play in the water. The kids did NOT seem to mind though!
When we first arrived we walked to the pond to feed the ducks and look at the fish

Check out the size of these Koi! They had to be at least a foot long!100_2367

This nice man caught this catfish right as we arrived and was nice enough to show the kids – some were brave enough to touch it!!! But Ethen wasn’t!!!

Ethen was a little cold – so he huddled inside his towel… So cute!100_2393100_2394100_2395100_2396100_2397100_2398100_2399100_2400100_2401100_2402
We left a little early so Ethen could get ready for the Father & Son campout with the church. He has been so excited for this! He and Jonathon wanted to wear their cammies – so Ethen got ready (sleeves rolled by yours truly – I still got it!!!) while we waited for Jonathon to get off work!
He’s got some good form!!!
