On Friday (May17, 2013) after we finished our field trip to the Boulder City Splash park (read about it HERE) we came home and got ready for the Father and Son’s Ward Campout. The guys were heading out to Knob Hill for some overnight fun!
Jonathon was gracious enough (more like threatened with bodily harm if he didn’t) to get me some pictures!
Ethen was ready to go and loved that he got to ride in daddy’s van!
After the long day it’s no wonder that Ethen crashed!
This is the top of Knob Hill – and yes Ethen took to immediately climbing it! Jonathon said that he hadn’t seen Ethen for a few minutes so he called out to him…
After the second or third call he hears Ethen say “I’M UP HERE!!!” Jonathon looks up and Ethen was pretty much at the top of this rock formation! Thankfully he wasn’t hurt and mommy wasn’t there – I think I would have freaked out! I know that he’s a boy and will explore but why does it always have to be something DANGEROUS!!!
