I’m not exactly sure where the last six years have gone too but my baby isn’t exactly a baby anymore! Six years old… REALLY!!!
We wanted the day to be a big day for him. A couple of weeks ago Ethen was not making very good choices and had his birthday party taken away as a consequence. We told him that he would have to earn it back. He did earn it back – we just didn’t tell him that!
On Saturday, November 3rd Jonathon took Ethen with him to the college to help him “teach” class. While that was happening Grandma and I set to work to get the party together! Jonathon snapped a few pictures of Ethen “teach” the students.
Ethen must have been on break when he decided to watch Power Rangers!
Jonathon then took Ethen to Chuck E. Cheese (where the party was) simply because Ethen did such a great job of teaching!!!
Ethen really wanted a Super Hero party so…
Ethen was so surprised! He was so excited to see us all there!!!
Everyone having fun at the Kiddy Casino!
Tickets… TICKETS!!!
Ethen opening his… many gifts!
This was probably his greatest face. A few Sunday’s ago in church his Primary teacher had this crystal hologram statue in class, the next day we saw it at the Deseret Book store… Surprise, Surprise Ethen got one for his birthday! He was totally excited!
All of us. (Right to Left/Front to Back) Amari, Ethen, Toni, Felicia, Me, Jonathon, Jason and Chuck. Grandma was absent because she was taking the picture!
Apparently mom was ready to go – she was SKIPPING to the door!
It was a great day but it wasn’t over yet!!! For the finally, we arranged a sleep over at Amari’s house!
I really can’t believe he will be six tomorrow. It seems like yesterday I was bringing him home from the hospital. I thank God for him everyday. He has made life worth living – through the good and the bad!
