Ethen Awarded!

I am so proud of my lil’man! If you remember a couple of weeks ago I told you about Ethen earning an academic award at school.

I  wasn’t able to get off work to attend, thankfully Jonathon was able to go! During the ceremony Jonathon sent me some pictures and told me that Ethen was not only awarded his academic award but also “Citizen of the Month”!!! There were only 3 students from Ethen’s class to receive an award today – and the only boy I might add! And one of 12 students from all classes to receive an award!

I am so so proud of him for earning both awards! He is smart and awesome!!! Check out the pics that Jonathon got for me!

Now onto a more solemn and unbelievable happening – someone decided to break into out church building! Jonathon drove by today and this is what he saw on every door! The sign says “Building closed due to vandalism. No Access Please – Police investigation in progress.”

Word though the Lance Corporal Network… err I mean – Church network says that they stole the computers and broke into several Bishop offices. Ours isn’t even the only church to be robbed here in Vegas. A few weeks ago someone brazenly stole the offering box from a local Catholic church! You must be really down and out to steal from a church. I pray that the police find those that would do this and they be held accountable for their crimes.
