A HUGE thank you to our dear friends (more like family) Chuck and Toni Hernandez for giving (yes, GIVING) Ethen this bunk bed set up! They have 3 boys who have since graduated and left the nest – so they were clearing out one of the rooms and asked if Ethen out like a new bed. I didn’t realize how nice this was until I started putting it together – it’s an Ethan Allen SOLID WOOD bunk bed!
Jonathon joked that the bed all ready had Ethen’s name all over it… ha ha!!!

This thing is solid. Rather than the bottom bunk, we decided to put the desk and shelf area in the bottom so Ethen has more room to play and also a place to do “homework” (which he will have this year in Kindergarten!)
He LOVES it!!!
That bed is fantastic!!! He'll be able to use that all through school!!
