Well as you know I’ve gone back to work. This is definitely a love/hate relationship thing! I love being back at work and feeling like I’m accomplishing more than keeping the dishes done – BUUUUUUUT – I miss my little guy so much!!!
And boy does he voice his dissatisfaction about me working again too!
But he will just have to learn to DEAL – and so will I!
Today CSN – the college Jonathon teaches at – was having a BBQ and our good friends Chuck and Toni Hernandez were cooking it up!
(They make the BEST tri-tip EVER!)
So we headed out there for some fun in the sun (yes sunblock was applied liberally!)
Ethen had fun playing soccer, Frisbee, football and yes even just jumping from rock to rock! My kid loves to move! Check it out!

I totally loved these next shots… These jumps freaked me out at first but then I chilled out…. can’t help it I’m a mom and all – sheesh!!!
Yes – Ethen jumped from a lower rock onto a taller one – without issue!!! (of course my heart skipped!!!)

After the BBQ Ethen and I headed home. Since I started working again my house has REALLY suffered! So CLEANING TIME!!!
Check out what job Ethen CHOSE (and I do mean chose). He had a choice to vacuum or dust – he chose to vacuum!!!
Well it’s been an… interesting… past few weeks. Hopefully both Ethen and I adjust to me working again.
