A little bit of everything!!!

So it’s been a while since I updated the bloggy blog! We’ve had some pretty fun activities… Ethen helped make some pretty good chocolate chip cookies… Family dinner with 4 generations… and my cousin was baptized… It’s been an interesting couple of weeks.

Hope you like the pics!

Don’t they look yummy!

We had a great rain storm the other week, a real treat for Ethen and the whole family. We let Ethen run in the rain for a few minutes… unfortunately the poor guy got really sick from it and had to be put on breathing treatments. He’s better now and wanted to run in the rain again… We lovingly declined that request the second time around!!!

We had 4 generations come together last weekend! It was great! Gramma, My mom, brother, cousin and his family, Jonathon and Ethen all went to eat at Coco’s. We first wanted On the Border but when we arrived an ambulance was out front! We thought… wow, the food here must be “to die for” ha ha… ok bad joke. One of their cooks collapsed in the kitchen. The wait was way too long for the little ones so we opted for Coco’s. It was great…

Ethen went around the table and HAD to have a picture taken with everyone! I won’t bore you though!

That’s a REALLY bad picture of me… the camera flash was waaay too close… oh well.

This is the church that my cousin, Josh, was baptized at. It’s called Central Christian Church. I am not used to this style of service, I felt like I was at a concert for the first part! I can totally see why it appeals to people. It’s very fun and laid back. I think I was one of 3 ladies actually in a dress and I know that the only man wearing a tie was my husband! Even the Pastor was in jeans and a T-Shirt…Oh well! The sermon was pretty good and had a great message from Philippians 4:6-9.

We went to his service to support Josh in his decision to follow Christ. What an important step in his (anyone’s) life! We are so proud of him and are grateful to have been able to share this moment with him!

Lots of love and hope that  I didn’t bore anyone with this being so long! So much has happened in the past month that the blog has slipped to the way side! I will do better!
